6 months
Wow- hitting the six month mark and all of a sudden Sophie can do so many things! Within a few days, she rolled over from her back to tummy and began sitting on her own. We can't believe how fast she is changing and becoming her own little person. She has such a fun personality and loves to giggle at her parents' wierd voices, sounds, and faces. It's funny what we do to get a smile out of her!
Christmas was fun and Sophie was pretty fascinated with the wrapping paper, most of all :)

Squish squash
Today we spent the day at Grandma Phyl's. Grandma made some squash soup and we wondered how Sophia would like squash.....needless to say, she loved it and even became angry when grandma stopped feeding it to her! She had several small spoonfuls and was leaning forward out of my lap to get to the spoon! It was pretty cute :) She's a big girl now! I brought home some squash and am going to make some baby food for her and I'm pretty excited about it-

Our little Sophia will be 5 months old in a little over a week. We've definately had to make some adjustments over the past few weeks, such as letting her cry when we put her to bed (which by the way is going very well now!). Routine, Routine, Routine. That's what works for her and if we don't stick by that, it's pretty noticeable.
Sophie had her first ear infection this week which is something that we didn't know about. I took her to the doctor because she has had a cold for weeks and had started coughing through the night. Guess I'm glad I took her in! She's a little trooper though and you can barely tell by her mood that she is sick.

4.5 months old
Sophia has been going through some changes the past few weeks and has learned a few new tricks- this morning she started the spitting motion and found that she can make noise by doing that. She also gurlgles and growls, which we ouf course find really cute!
Hope you are enjoying the pictures as much as we enjoy taking them! It's getting a little ridiculous :), but we can't get these times back- so we'll keep taking 'em!
