7 month birthday

Sophia is 7 months old today, and she seems like a totally different child, overnight!  She has been constantly rolling back and forth all day, which was not something she did very often before.  Also, when she is on her stomach, she turns her body around in a circle to face a different direction. We didn't think she was going to crawl, but maybe she will!  She is finally allowing for her hands to touch the ground, which she didn't really like to do before.  We've also had her in her walker a lot, like we usually do, but she all of a sudden can really move!  She has tipped over the garbage can in the kitchen and has tried getting into the dog food.  I guess it's time to childproof!

7 months

Sophia will be 7 months old this weekend...time sure flies!  She's such a big girl- she has started clapping her hands, or trying anyways, when she is excited.  She has also pretty much mastered holding her own bottle.  A few weeks ago she also started holding out her arms to get picked up (which I was so excited for...so nice to feel needed :) ).

An easy way to get Phi to smile.....eat crunchie food!  For some reason she thinks this is funny :)

Growling.....

Here's a video of Sophie's growling, which is something she does constantly!  She doesn't really babble or anything, just growls :)  If you listen closely, she kind of says/growls "mom".  This morning Lucas said that she growled it 6 times in a row, so it was "momomomom...."

29 year old walker......

My dad brought over my old walker and Sophie loves it!  She finally found something that she can actually reach the floor with :)  She definitely enjoys scooting aroud the living room and kitchen-

If you look closely, you can kind of see her two in the middle of her bottom gums....

Toofers

Sophia has had a rough time sleeping the past few nights and doesn't let up when we try to let her "cry it out."  For months we have blamed everything on teething, but we thought that she probably was this time.  I looked at her gums this morning and noticed 2 teeth coming in on her bottom gum!  By bedtime tonight, one of them had popped through.  I swear, something new arises every weekend and we LOVE it!
